Donations

A few Sundays ago, MC got an idea at Sunday School. She wanted to organize a donation for our small group to give to our church food pantry. So, all day she worked on the list of items for each family to give. She looked up prices of the items on the computer so that each family would have a comparable amount. At Small Group that day, she organized the kids and they gave the adults our shopping list. So, this is the group of our small group kids (most of them anyway) that went to the Bread of Life to drop off their donation. And their donations are behind them. So proud of those awesome kids!

District Spelling Bee

Jack got to compete in the District Spelling Bee in January. He stayed in longer than a few Jr. High kids, so he was proud. He did not win, but we couldn't be prouder of our boy!

New Years Eve/Jack's 11th Birthday

For New Years Eve this year, we all dressed up and went to eat at Bordino's as a family. We had such a great time just hanging out. The kids stayed up until midnight and came in to wake Adam and me up as we might have fallen asleep. Our kids are SO much fun at these ages. They have the sweetest, funniest little personalities and we just love hanging out!

Also on NYE (since Adam and I are the worst at waiting for birthdays for gifts!!!) we gave Jack his birthday gift. He got a cell phone for his birthday. He was stunned. We have told him that he would not get one this early. Long story as to why we gave in, but a very good reason. But Jack was the winner! He has been so responsible with it! He is getting so grown up!!!

Christmas with the Kees

After we got back from Colorado, Adam's parents, Victoria, Rebecca, Alex and Wyatt came over to have Christmas together!! We had a great time during our visit! Thank you everyone for all of the wonderful Christmas gifts!!! Seriously, how cute is my nephew Wyatt!!!! He was in rare form that night running around and telling Jack and Maree-Claire how it was going to be! He is a funny little guy!
