Busy Weekend!!!

We started off our weekend with a Saturday win for J's team. They won the Sonics 3rd Grade Boys tournament. The team played GREAT! So much fun!

We left the basketball game to rush back to the Odyssey of the Mind Regional tournament. They had their spontaneous competition before the bball game and then their skit was right after. We had to leave before the awards ceremony but they won 2nd place overall in the 3-5 grade age category and they got a special award for unique creativity! They get to go to STATE!! Yea kiddos!

We left the OM Regionals to rush to Little Rock so Adam and I could run the Marathon (Adam) and 1/2 Marathon (me). David and Katie, Adam and I have been training for months! We met GrandJan and Big Jim who were so kind as to drive to LR to get our kids and then drive back to Harrison on Sunday afternoon late to get them back to us! While at their house, the kids got to play lots of golf and ride four-wheelers! Thank you GrandJan and Big Jim!! We love you!!

So, we ran on Sunday. Adam finished a full marathon and I finished the 1/2. It was amazing! David and Katie, thank you for the months of hard work we had the pleasure of completing together! You guys are the best! We love you!!
