Last week I had the privilege of going to Mexico on a Mission Trip with 10 other people from my church. It was a trip that I would take again in a heartbeat! We finished a school out while we were there. We put down pavers in the courtyard between buildings so it wasn't just a mud floor to walk between classrooms. We painted, moved dirt/sand, planted trees, wired two rooms for electrical outlets and fans/lights, and some of the guys put a roof on a building. It was so much fun! The first dark green building is now used for supplies, but this is what the classrooms looked like before they built the concrete buildings. Now there are 4 classrooms and they plan to build another building with 2 more rooms in the future. The kitchen is also concrete now and thanks to donations from Rotary in Springdale, they have the appliances to put in the kitchen as well. The people in this area were so great to be around for a week. They were out there working so hard for their kids. And the kids were out there helping out any way they could too. It was an amazing week that I will never forget!
